SitCloser.com is a private ticket service or a "Ticket Broker." We are
not affiliated with any box office, team, promoter, TicketMaster,
Telecharge or any other primary ticket seller. The prices we charge are
almost always above the prices printed on the tickets. We strive to provide
customers with memorable experiences.
What is a Ticket Broker?
A Ticket Broker sells tickets for market value. Tickets are initially
sold by the box office or their agents (Ticketmaster, Tickets.com) at
"face value" (the price printed on the ticket) plus service charges
that are added on by the primary seller. We specialize in obtaining and
providing customers with seats that are in high demand or that customers
might otherwise not be able to find on their own, such as sold out or
premium tickets.
We obtain tickets in a variety of ways. Contrary to popular belief we do
not get large blocks of the best tickets from the box office. They are
usually sold through the box office or their agents. Once they are sold, we
have to find and purchase tickets from other sources such as season ticket
holders and individuals with extra tickets for events.
(If you have extra tickets to sell, please let
us know. We may buy them from you for more than you paid.) We often pay
more than the "face value" to obtain these tickets, and most of the
time, a significant amount more than "face value". We then sell the
tickets at the market price. The market price fluctuates, which means sometimes
we must sell tickets for below what we paid, but most of the time market demand
allows us to sell them above what we paid.
It is our goal to provide you with the following:
- An expansive list of events and premium seats for those events. We
take every effort to ensure the inventory quality on our website is the most
up to date. Furthermore we try to offer advice on which seats at a particular
venue offer the best value for you.
- Premium seating or up front tickets. These seats put you among the
closest in the house to the performance. Sitting here often provides a
memorable and most enjoyable experience.
- An outlet for our clients to sell their unwanted tickets. Our inventory
system is “plugged-in” to hundreds of other ticket broker’s web
sites. Your tickets can receive multiple exposures, hopefully increasing the
